“Featherman meets the ghosts” by and with Nico Dorigatti:
Clowning, dancing, acrobatics and acting – all this and more is combined in the acting solo “Featherman…” to pit fear and an unshakeable will to survive against each other on the stage of our souls.
"A figure that embodies the often unwanted and disabling power and the feeling of being sought after in me - with the tension, attention and indestructibility of a spring."
Procedure:
The story seems clear: a stormy night. An abandoned room. A lonely traveler looking for shelter. And yet nothing here is as it seems. The walls begin to whisper, objects move of their own accord and the only way out is blocked. And as the night progresses, a bizarre battle begins against deeply buried fears that gradually find their way back into reality.
In a wild round dance of clowning, dance, acrobatics, stage magic and acting, Nico Dorigatti explores in Featherman meets the ghosts that space within ourselves in which the joyful, clownish confronts fear and loss in a never-ending confrontation.
