Fox On Ice is the joint project of Anna Luca Krassnigg, author and performer, and Christian Maïr, musician, producer and filmmaker, at the inter-creative interface between music, literature, film and theatre. It deals with narratives of transformation through feminine and fluid perspectives and strategies.
Through international work and performances, Fox On Ice reflects and processes different cultural experiences. The vision is to overcome borders – geographical, artistic and personal – and open up spaces for empowerment, freedom and fluidity beyond binary norms.

ORLANDO TRIP is the current production, tour and also the name of the studio concept album.
The cinematic musical performance tells the story of the mythical figure Orlando and is a tribute to the great European spirits Lodovico Ariosto and Virginia Woolf. Orlando, knight, traveler and ambassador, crosses the seas several times and finally returns as a masterful and nomadic conqueror of rigid borders. His/her story is told in 12 songs, intermezzi and videos.
ORLANDO TRIP is simultaneously a spoken performance, a concert and a rush of images. Fox On Ice creates the suggestion of an effortless transition between stage and film, man and landscape, man and woman, and provides an international audience with sensual access to a European myth about fluidity and the feminine art of transformation. A (middle) sea story that delights cineastes, music lovers and literature enthusiasts alike.
